Sellers and Buyers need to contact their existing companies (utilities, securities, etc.) to turn off or transfer services to the next homeowner. If you are buying, your agent will help you obtain information on the various companies so you can begin contacting them to set up services for you and your family.
Don’t forget to forward your address to your new address. You can do this online or go to your post office to fill out the proper forms.
